Frugal Friday: White Tee + Black Ripped Jeans

It’s FRIDAY!  The best day of the work week!  We have a busy weekend ahead and we’re also going to attempt family pictures on Sunday (please pray for me).  I’m hoping my kids (and husband) cooperate and we’re able to get a handful of pictures together as a family.  It’s been way too long since we’ve done them.

So, I know this post looks like an #OOTD Roundup Post (which I guess it kind of is), but I want to share/focus on two of my favorite and most worn items in my closet that are under $4o.  This long sleeve white crewneck tee and these black ripped jeans make for a  perfect Frugal Friday!

As you can see, this long sleeve white crewneck tee is something that I wear frequently.  I know it sounds silly that I would even discuss a plain white tee on the blog because, really, you can get a white tee anywhere….but, I’m telling you, this one is perfection!  The length and the fit is exactly what you want in a white tee for fall.  It’s perfect for layering.  I like to wear oversized V-neck white tees in the spring and summer, but I gravitate towards longer crewneck tees for fall because they are perfect for pairing with leggings, vests, jackets, cardigans, and so forth.  This long sleeve white tee is under $20 + free shipping (and also comes in 5 other color options).  For size reference, I’m wearing the XS.

P.S. I know several of you have purchased this herringbone vest (under $30, I’m wearing the XS) and these black New Balance sneakers (under $65) that I’m wearing. They are also both really great, versatile items that I LOVE.

I call these black ripped skinny jeans my “trendy mom jeans”.  They have a higher waist so they suck everything in and the fit is very forgiving.  I wear these black skinny jeans any chance I get, they are very versatile and super trendy.  It’s hard to believe that they are just $40, you really can’t beat that price!  Size Tip: I suggest just sizing up one size in these.  I’m wearing the 30 inch length, but if you want to cuff them, I would suggest getting the longer length option.
