Ways To Style Adidas Superstar Sneakers

I’ve received several questions and comments lately about styling sneakers.  Specifically, several of you asked for a pair of Adidas Superstar Sneakers for Christmas and now you’re wanting to know how to style them.  Or, in some cases, you already have a pair and they’ve been sitting in your closet because you don’t feel like you can pull them off or you, too, are just unsure how to style them.  Today I’m showing several ways that I’ve styled these sneakers over the last few months.  Mine are the white/black, but most of my readers seem to have and love these gold ones.

Before we dive in, I just want to say that I think these Adidas sneakers are great for any age or gender.  Really and truly, they look adorable on kids, men, and women of any age.  I know some of my readers feel like they’re too old to wear them, but I disagree.  My friends grandmother wears them and she looks SO darn cute!  Plus, they’re unisex so everyone in the family can wear them!  However, if you’re not a fan of these Adidas sneakers, another great casual sneaker option are the Chuck Taylor Shorline Sneakers by Converse.  I also have those and love them just as much!

I ordered mine from Nordstrom last year and I ordered pairs for Camden and Remi from Nordstrom for Christmas.  I know I talk about it a lot, but if you’re ever unsure about sizing or if you’ll even like an item, I definitely suggest ordering from Nordstrom because they offer hassle free returns and exchanges, which is a LIFE SAVER!  Not to mention, I absolutely LOVE that I can order online from Nordstrom and often pick up my items the same day.  Plus, I just saw that Nordstrom is Price Matching Adidas sneakers right now so they’re all on SALE! (Note: I have no clue how long that will last.)

Sizing: Adidas run big. For women, I suggest going down one full size!  Or you can order the boys/big kid version instead (I am a size 5 and can often wear a boy size 3).  This can also save you money because kid sizes are usually less expensive. Score!

In regards to the Converse, I would order your normal size.
