The Scoop on SheIn

Today I’m sharing this cute cut-out dress from SheIn.  I always get a lot of questions about SheIn so, since I’m sharing another item from their site, I figured this is a great time to talk about it.  Mainly, because their items are incredibly inexpensive, people often worry that the quality will be terrible.  I have briefly touched base on this before, but I thought I would dive in a little deeper since I plan on ordering a few more things from their site today.  So, here’s the scoop.

There are several things I love about SheIn.  Firstly, and probably the most obvious, is their prices.  Their items are VERY inexpensive.  The trick to their site is making sure you always read the reviews.  Their site is pretty popular so most items will have a lot of reviews and a lot of people leave pictures in their reviews, which is very helpful.  If the reviews say the item didn’t fit well or was poor quality, I never order it!  They also have Style Shots on several of their clothing items, which are pictures of bloggers who have worn that particular item.  I love this because it allows me to see the items on normal people rather than just the online model.   Lastly, they really do offer so many unique and super cute items and a TON of selections for any and every occasion!   Note: there are several one-size-fits-all items, but I don’t recommend ordering those items (unless maybe it’s a swimsuit cover up or a kimono).

The shipping is free, but it does takes 2-3 weeks to arrive unless you spend $100 and, at that point, you get free express shipping, which cuts the arrival time in half.  For this reason (and because the items are so cheap), I never just order one thing from their site.  I will add things to my cart and when I feel like I finally have several things I like, I then make my purchase.  It just seems silly to order one $12 shirt that will take 2.5 weeks to arrive so, personally, I just prefer to order several items at a time from their site.  And, again, if I spend $100 it arrives much quicker!  A lot of bloggers wear their clothes so, again, if I see someone wear something that I like, I will add it to my cart, but I won’t place my order until I find other items either then or later. Note: I suggest only ordering items that say “Priority Dispatching”.  This means the item is in stock and ready to ship.  If not, it can take around 3.5 weeks to arrive.  When the item is your cart you will see a black label that says “Priority Dispatching”; keep an eye out for that!

I have personally liked everything I have ordered from SheIn, but I do read a LOT of reviews before placing an order.  I truly believe that’s the key…unless you see someone else wear an item so you’re able to see how it fits, etc.
