Sweater weather, anyone?  The weather was so nice over the weekend!  Something about a new season and beautiful weather really seems to put people in a good mood.  I noticed over the weekend, with the weather being so nice, everywhere we went people just seemed so happy.  Sounds silly, but it’s true.  And, can you believe Halloween is next week?  I’ve totally procrastinated with getting costumes picked out for the kids, so that’s definitely on my agenda for this week.  I can’t wait to see them all dressed up and I really can’t wait to eat all of their candy. Hashtag momperks.

And, speaking of procrastination, this week kicked off an accountability challenge that I’m doing with my friend Bethany.  We always complained about feeling like we’re drowning in our to-do lists and we never have enough hours in the day to get all of our work done.  Mainly because once we get up in the morning, the kids are up soon after and then our focus is on them and our work agenda gets tossed to the side or, worse, you focus on your work and then your kids get tossed to the side.  I’m a morning person and so is she so we decided the solution to our problem is getting up much earlier to allow us to focus our time and energy, uninterrupted, on our to-do lists, goals, work or whatever it is we want/need to do.  We’ve decided to get up each morning M-F at 4:30am (crazy, I know!).  It’s only been two days, but, wow, it’s crazy how much I’ve been able to accomplish and, since we’re holding each other accountable for getting up (texting each other first thing) it’s prevented us from not following through.  Having that quiet time each morning and being able to read my devotional uninterrupted and then being able to get blog posts scheduled and shop orders completed has made me feel so accomplished and less stressed throughout the day.  If you’re in the same boat, I definitely encourage you, too, to get an accountability partner…it definitely makes it easier and forces you to do whatever it is you’re needing to do.

Now, let’s talk about sweaters, shall we? Since we are literally in the very beginning stages of our cooler seasons, I’ve been trying to purchase items that I can wear now and all way through winter, like this ribbed mock neck pullover sweater.  What I love about this sweater, other than its oversized fit, is the length.  It’s perfect to wear with leggings and booties, or leggings and Hunter Boots, or even with jeans and sneakers.  It’s very versatile, it comes in 5 colors and it’s under $40.  I have the cream/heather one and this red color.  I LOVE them both!  Size Tip: It runs large. I am wearing the XS, but probably should have ordered the XXS. Size down!

I mentioned in my last post, that I would be sharing a few more outfit options for these grey suede over the knee boots.  I wasn’t lying, see.  I’ll also be sharing a full round-up of all the outfits soon!  And, bonus, all of these outfit options could also be worn with the black version of these over the knee boots (both colors are on major sale).
