Lace Up and Leather

Did everyone survive Black Friday and Cyber Monday? As silly as it sounds, shopping those sales really gets me in the Christmas spirit. I think it’s because I get to scratch so many people off my Christmas shopping list and then I get so excited to gift everyone their goodies. I still can’t believe that Christmas is SO soon. Geez, this year has flown by! And, in other news, tomorrow is my husbands birthday so we’re heading out of town this weekend to his family’s cabin in Oklahoma with no cell service. Yep, none! The first time I went there I was nervous I would go crazy without phone service, but it’s amazing how much quality time you spend with your loved ones when the distraction of your phone is eliminated. I’m really looking forward to it!

I’m excited to share this lace up dress on the blog today. I love the crisscross detail; it really adds some flare to this dress. It comes in 5 really great colors and is under $20! The length is prefect for pairing with tights or even leather leggings. It’s not clingy, at all, which makes it extra forgiving and flattering. I really love it! The black one could be such a wardrobe staple and perfect for the holidays. Who doesn’t love a little black dress…especially one with such a great price point! I’m wearing the rust color in size XS. I really like how the model online styled it with a choker. SUPER cute!

I searched and searched for a great faux leather jacket that had a tailored fit and wasn’t outrageously expensive. I found this faux leather jacket on Amazon and I’m pretty much obsessed with it. It’s funny because I actually found this exact jacket at another retailer for $68, but, before purchasing, I searched for it on Amazon and I found it there for just $39…the exact jacket and brand. Score! One of the many reason I love Amazon Prime. I would suggest sizing up one in this jacket.
