Really Red

It’s funny how the things you wear can totally alter your mood. When I wear pants that are way too tight, I will feel like a cow. When I wear my pajamas all day, I feel frumpy, and, when my hair and makeup are done I feel like I can conquer the world! Well, let me tell you, this red sweater made me feel festive and super jolly and, truth be told, jolly feels pretty darn good!

I purchased this sweater from H&M on a whim. I saw it and immediately thought – oh, that looks festive! I’ll take it! Plus, it was only $20 so I figured if I only wore once or twice, I’d get my money’s worth. Well, the day after this shoot, I put it back on with my Christmas pajamas and the day after that I wore it with leggings and Uggs. Yep, I’d say red is quickly becoming my favorite color for December! (If red isn’t your thing, this sweater also comes in three other colors.)

This grey scarf from Asos is one of those things I purchased because I kept seeing it pop up all over my Instagram feed. It’s $25 and I LOVE the length; it’s perfect for wrapping and wearing tied up or any other fancy way you’d like to wear a scarf. It’s warm, but not bulky, and I love the color!
