Leather and Lace Up

I’ve been sharing a lot of casual wear on the blog lately so I thought I would spice it up with a little date night attire. This burgundy lace up sweater is one of my favorites! Aside from the cute lace up detail, it also has a ribbed texture and bell sleeves. And, because it’s not too thick, I can wear it through spring and maybe even into summer with shorts and wedges. Though I’ve had it for awhile, I just realized that I hadn’t shared this lace up sweater with you so, when I had the chance to get dressed up and finally wear this faux leather skirt that I’ve been holding onto, I thought I’d style it for this fun + sassy date night look. And, is it just me or is there something about wearing leather that makes you feel like a total bas a**. Leather jacket, leather leggings and, now for spring + summer, leather skirts.
