Happy Sunday! You guys, I am in the best mood today. Kyle and I are in Colorado right now. He was the best man in a wedding last night; a STUNNING wedding with the most beautiful views. And, though the wedding was breathtaking, that’s not technically the reason why I’m in a good mood.
A little back story; Kyle and have been arguing and bickering over the last couple of weeks. Over the nothing. Literally, the most unnecessary bickering, for no good reason. Because of that, truthfully, I was nervous this trip would include more bickering. However, let me tell you, the second we got on the plane everything changed. We instantly talked about what our frustrations were, agreed that life it too short to bicker and be annoyed at each other for no good reason, and then, well, we kissed and made up.
Marriage isn’t always easy for us. I’ve talked about this with y’all before, but we communicate differently, we have different Love Languages, and different Enneagram Types. It takes work and sometimes a LOT of work. For that reason, quality time and kid-free time is imperative for us. We NEED it to help our marriage thrive. This trip has been just that. We have had the most amazing time together; my heart is so full! I am so excited to have another full day with him here before heading home tomorrow.
So, long story short-ish, that’s why I woke up in such a great mood!
