Happy Monday! This is coming to you a day later than normal because I was having site issues. Sorry about that!
How was your week? Last week was the first week that Camden started to seem less interested in his school work. He has always LOVED school and learning so, when school first got canceled, he was still excited to do school activities from home. Last week, however, he began saying “how many do I have to do” and “can I be done”? It made me sad because I felt like his love for learning was slipping away, but, then I realized, I think it’s more so the atmosphere that he’s losing interest in. He wants to be in the classroom with his classmates. So, this week, we are going to change things up. We are going to go outside and other places around the house to do school activities and experiments and try to add more excitement than just sitting at the kitchen island for school each day. I’m also scheduling a zoom call with one of his friends and his mom and we’re going to do a fun learning activity together. Hopefully this helps. I’ll report back! xo!
