This post was probably the most fun one to shoot, to date. Honestly, shooting pictures is one of my favorite parts of blogging because my photographer is my sister-in-law and great friend so we have a lot of fun! It really is comical shooting for the blog because you’re trying to be serious and look cute, but the whole time we’re usually laughing our butts off about how silly I look. The day we did these pictures, by best friend Heather (who is also a blogger) joined us so it was double the fun…and double the laughter. It’s so nice having people in my life that share my passion and help me bring my vision to life. Heather and I made a deal to shoot all of our blog posts on the same day going forward, if our schedules permit, so we can have that experience every time. It was a shit show and a total blast!
And, real quick, can we talk about the new look of the blog? You guys, I am so happy about it! I use Jennifer (name twins!) at Easy Local Marketing for all of my web development. She is nothing short of amazing! She was able to bring my vision to life and I’m thrilled with the outcome and totally smitten with the new look of the blog. If you ever need a blog or website created, she is your gal! I always enjoy working with her…she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, timely and precise. She gets me, and I love that!
Okay, so let’s chat about this outfit. Well, mainly, this navy high-low blouse. It’s quickly becoming my favorite top; I really love the back, the ruffle details and the half sleeves. This navy blouse can easily be dressed up or down, it is perfect for work or church or even to wear on date night. It would also be a great option for your family Christmas pictures. Oh, and I did mention that this blouse also comes in white and is under $15? Pretty great, right? For size reference, I’m wearing the XS. It’s been way too long since I’ve worn these peep-toe booties on the blog so I was excited to style them for this post. And, swoon, these tassel earrings are my FAVE! The fringe and stone detailing is so pretty, they’re such a statement piece.
