The Perfect Occasion Dress For Multiple Seasons

A few weeks ago, a reader send me an email saying that she had three weddings on her calendar; two for this summer and one this fall and she was looking for a dress that she could wear to all three. Then, a week later, I also needed a dress for an upcoming wedding so I ordered the same one for myself!

Nordstrom is pretty much always my go-to destination for special occasion dresses because I can easily order more than one size, if needed (free shipping AND returns). And, even better, their alteration service is SO convenient. Plus, Nordstrom always has a pretty good selection with a wide range or price-points. The dress I’m wearing in today’s post is just $89 and I know I’ll get lots of use out it! This style of dress is very popular, I’m sharing a few other similar options below!

This Norstrom dress comes in 9 colors, but I chose the red for a few reasons. First, red is on major trend right now. Also, it’s a great shade for multiple seasons (hello upcoming holiday parties)! And, lastly, I always feel extra sassy when I wear red! If you’re a bride, the white version of this dress would be so great for bridal shower or rehearsal dinner!

Sizing: If you’re between sizes, I suggest going up. I am wearing a size small.
