Last week I met one of my sisters, Sydnie, at Old Navy for a little shopping. She just had her second baby six weeks ago so she was looking for a few cute items to add to her wardrobe that are functional, comfortable, and flattering. She was also hoping to find some cute nursing-friendly options.
We picked out a handful of Old Navy items, styled them, and took pictures of us both wearing the items in our sizes. I’m so glad she agreed to do this because I think seeing items styled on two different body types will be extremely helpful for y’all!

She’s agreed to also come shopping with me one day during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so we can do this again. I’m excited; we had SO much fun, I absolutely love spending time with her! People looked at us like we were crazy when we were walking around the store wearing the same outfits. Ha!
Sizing: I’ll list both of our sizes under each item for reference. Note: I am almost 5’4″ and Sydnie is 5’7″.
TOP: This top actually comes in several colors, but we both loved the colors of this one. It’s definitely a better option for fall, but it’s lightweight, flow-y and has cute tassels. She liked hers tied and I preferred to have them untied. Syd is wearing a medium and I am wearing an xs. Available HERE.
JEANS: We both really loved the fit of these jeans, but I can’t seem to find this pair online. They were a dark wash with a stem hem at the bottom. VERY comfy and had great stretch! Sydnie is wearing a size 10 and I’m wearing a size 0. If you’re between sizes go down. Sydnie said she probably could have done an 8 in these. Similar pair HERE.
DRESS: We both really loved this dress! I think will also be super cute in the fall with booties and a military jacket. You could also dress this down and pair with converse or flat sandals. I’m wearing an xs; Sydnie tried on the medium and the large and opted for the medium. If you’re shorter than 5’4″, I would probably get the petite length. Available HERE.
JACKET: This jacket is a closet staple! It comes in several colors and I love the fit of it! I personally own the green one and she owns the camo one. These will be so great for fall and winter. She is wearing a medium and I’m wearing an xs. Available HERE.
This outfit was our FAVE!! I know it’s more appropriate for fall, but we loved it nonetheless!
TEE: This top comes in several colors. The white one is a little sheer, but we loved how soft and comfy it is. We both sized up one so we could easily knot it. I’m wearing a small and she is wearing a large. Available HERE.
JEANS: We really loved these grey jeans! They have a lot of stretch, a mid-rise waist, and a cute raw hem. She is wearing an 8; I am wearing the 0 and they were a tad big. I would definitely size down one in these! I think this color will be SO great for fall! Available HERE.
JACKET: She is wearing THIS ONE (I also have this and love it); she is in a size medium. I am wearing THIS ONE (darker wash) in an xs. If between sizes, go down in their denim jackets.

SHORTS: These draw-string shorts are SO GOOD! They are extremely comfy; Sydnie was obsessed! They really feel like pajamas and they have pockets! I have these shorts already in black and green; I love them! I am wearing an xs and Sydnie is wearing medium. Available HERE, other colors available HERE.
TANK: These come in several colors (I wear the black ones ALL the time). They are VERY soft and great for layering. I’m wearing a small and Sydnie is wearing a large. Available HERE.
CARDIGAN: These are lightweight so they’re great to wear now and into fall. These are also awesome for traveling! They come in several different colors. I am wearing a small and she is wearing the large. I suggest sizing up one for more length or you could even go with the tall length option! Available HERE.

LEGGINGS: I loved the color of these! They were pretty comfy, but I wished I would have sized up. I tried on the xs and they were a tad snug. Sydnie is wearing the large and she loved them! Available HERE.
HOODIE: We both loved this hoodie! I am wearing the small and she is wearing the large, but we both ended up going up one more size for more length. I snagged the medium and she snagged the XL so I would definitely size up for an more oversized fit! Available HERE.

DRESS: This has been on REPEAT! It’s super comfy and really versatile! I’m wearing an xs, but if you want to knot it, I would definitely either size up one or do the tall length option. These comes in several colors, I have thee navy stripes, the red striped, and the grey. I snagged them for just $8. I am a little thicker than you and I was just thinking, I need to do a post where I show what these outfits look like on a curvish girl🤣 It’s depressing sometimes when you get in the dressing room and nothing looks the same. Any tips for sizes 6 and up with a bigger booty would be so incredible 🤗 Thank you for all of your info, I am always checking out what you share🤗
