Casual Outfits I’m Loving

The weekend is here!  It’s almost 6:00 a.m., the kids are in bed and Kyle hasn’t made it back from the station yet.  I woke up excited today because I’m having a sleepover with my girlfriends tonight!  We’re going to lunch and then heading back to my friends house for a gift exchange pajama party!  I can’t WAIT!

While I sip some coffee and wait for the kids to wake up, I thought I would share a quick recap of some things I worn lately.  I used to be really good about doing outfit recaps, in hopes to give you easy outfit inspiration for the week, but I’ve totally dropped the ball lately.  Hashtag holidays!

Nonetheless, here are few  casual outfits that I’ve been loving!

Casual Style

BLACK JEANS:  I have been looooving these!  They are SO slimming and I love the raw hem.  They have a high waist, a lot of stretch and are super comfy!  These fit true to size, I’m wearing the regular length, and are available HERE.

V-NECK TEE:  I have this tee in every color!  I get a size xs or small, depending the length that I want…both fit great!  These are on sale for $14 + free shipping and available HERE.

WRAP BRACELET:  The one I’m wearing in this pic can be found HERE (I love this one!!)

GREEN BUTTON DOWN:  I’ve shared this several times; I get so much use out of it!  For reference, I’m wearing an xs.  Grab one HERE.

BOOTIES:  I have had these for two years and I get so much use out of them! SO comfy!  The are true to size, but if you’re between sizes, go up!  They’re on sale for $59 + frees shipping and available HERE.

Casual Outfits

HOODIE:  I have this lightweight hoodie in two colors, this olive green and the mustard stripes.  It’s super comfy, but it’s not very warm so if it’s really cold where you are, this may not be a great option.  I’m excited, though, that I can wear this into spring!  I got an xs, it’s available HERE.  I styled the striped one HERE.

JEANS:  I have talked so much about these jeans lately.  They’re such a great deal!  They’re on sale for under $40 and crazy comfortable and flattering!  They have a high waist and I got the short length option (I’m almost 5’4″).  If you’re between sizes, go down.  Grab a pair HERE.  If you prefer no distressing, you can grab that option HERE. (If between sizes, go down.  These are just $29 a Top Seller!)

WRAP BRACELET:  The one I’m wearing in this pic can be found HERE.  This one was a gift; it’s soooo pretty!

LEOPARD FLATS: Oh how I love these! They’re a little pricey, but you can wear them all year long and they’ll last you forever! These fit true to size and are available HERE.

Casual Style

BLACK JEANS:  These are the same jeans I’m wearing in the first pic.  I can literally wear these for days and they never lose their shape!  Available HERE.

V-NECK TEE:  Again, I have alllll the colors! Ha!  I’m wearing a size small in this one.  It’s available HERE.

WRAP BRACELET:  This one has such pretty colors and is available HERE.

LEOPARD FLATS:  I’m telling you, these are super versatile!  You can find a similar, more affordable option HERE and HERE.

CHAMBRAY TOP: I love to wear this as a cardigan and then just tie it around my waist if I get too hot!  These are a great closet staple!  For reference, I’m wearing an xs.  It’s available HERE.

Casual Style

WHITE OXFORD SHIRT:  I think there is something very classy, yet sexy about a woman in a crisp white collard shirt!  It’s another very versatile item that can easily be dressed up or down and is also great for the workplace!  For reference, I’m wearing an xs in this one and I got it HERE.

WRAP BRACELET:  I hate to pick favorites, but this one is quickly becoming my fave (same one from the first outfit)!! Available HERE.

BOYFRIEND JEANS:  This exact pair is from Abercrombie, but they’re completely sold out.  They also have a similar pair HERE.  If you’re between sizes, go down.

LEOPARD BOOTIES:  I purchased these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  I really like them, but I don’t think I’d pay full price for them.  There is a more affordable option HERE and HERE.

Casual Style

GREEN PANTS:  Also known as my “happy pants”.  I won’t go into too much detail because you already know how much I loooove these!  And y’all sell them out ALL the time!  They are so good!  If between sizes, go down; if not, get your normal size!  These are available HERE.  They also come in a darker option HERE.

STRIPED SWEATER:  I purchased this thinking it would be a tunic, but it’s definite more of a sweater.  I kept it because I love the colors and it pairs great with the green jeans!  For reference, I’m wearing a size small.  Available HERE.

WRAP BRACELET: The one I’m wearing here is available HERE.

BOOTIES:  Same ones as above!  Again, these are always on repeat!  On sale and available HERE.

I realized a couple things while writing this post.  One, I wear the color green a lot.  Ha!  I mean, it is my favorite color!  And, two, I wear Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets allll the time!  I know I’ve talked about them a dozen times before, but they really are so pretty and make the best gifts!  They have incredible reviews, a huge selection, and they’re really great quality!  Right now they have 30% OFF EVERYTHING with code: HOHOHO.  If you’ve wanted to grab one for yourself (I always purchase mine during their sales) or as a gift, I would definitely grab one while they’re on SALEThey also have 20 styles UNDER $20 today!  You can browse their entire selection HERE.

Well, I’m off to take a shower and make breakfast for the kiddos!  Wishing everyone a great Saturday!

Thank you to Victoria Emerson for sponsoring this post!  As always, all items I have from their brand were selected by me and all opinions are my own!

Could you just talk to me about your hair color a minute?!! It’s amazing. A couple of questions. How do you get those waves and for the lighter color on your hair, what did you tell our stylist you wanted? I have dark hair and have never been happy with doing lighter pieces because I feel like it turns out orange 🙂

    • I have her do what’s called a “face frame” for the lighter parts. For the curl, I use a one inch curling iron and I put my fingers through the curls soon after to loosen them! Full tutorial coming SOON! 🙂
