Holiday Party Outfit Ideas

I am finally putting away my leggings and putting on holiday attire! Juuuust kidding, I’m actually wearing leggings as I type this.  BUT I did put on all these snazzy outfits to help bring you some super cute holiday outfit options; things you could wear to winter weddings, holiday parties, etc.!

All of the items that I’m sharing in this post are from Express.  Anytime I need something a little dressier, Express is always the first place I look.  And, true story, each year in the fall when I go to New York Fashion Week, I literally purchase 95% of the outfits for my trip from Express.  They have a big selection of items and everything is always such great quality! You know I love something when I have it in THREE colors!  Haha!  It’s literally my go-to outfit option for literally anything that requires me to be dressed up!   Weddings, holiday parties, graduation parties, engagement parties, cocktail parties….whatever it is!  It’s SO comfortable, it’s very flattering, and I love that it has pockets!  I get compliments on this every single time I wear it!  I think the black one is such a great closet staple that you could wear year after year!  Also, SO MANY of you have this so, believe me when I say, it looks amazing on everyone!  Furthermore, it has FANTASTIC reviews! Styling Tip: Now that it’s winter, you could pair this with a shawl or a blazer for extra warmth!  Or, for an edgier look, you could add a moto jacket!

Sizing: If you’re between sizes, I would size down unless you’re very busty.  For reference, I’m wearing a 00.

I had to shave my legs and slap on some self-tanner for this one, but, you guys, I felt so sassy in this velvet ruffle skirt!  It’s so pretty in person!  The fabric is super soft and the ruffles are so pretty!  You could also pair this with a red sweater or blouse for the holidays or even do all black!  This skirt is on sale for just $29 and available HERE.  For reference, I sized down to an xxs when I ordered this, but I think the xs would have fine.  Stick with your normal size in this!

Did someone say velvet sequin leggings?  YES!  I mean, come on! These things are ammmmazing and, the best part, they are SO COMFY…and, um, on SALE for just $39!  They have a lot stretch so they aren’t restricting; you could definitely dance the night away wearing these on NYE!  I did not expect to love these as much as I do.  They’re great!  I dressed them down with that same white top, but you could do the same with a chambray button down.  Or you could dress them up  more with a solid colored cami (these are my fave), sweater or blouse.  If between sizes, go down.  For reference, I’m wearing an xxs.  These are available HERE.
