Beauty Favorites from Sephora!

Sephora

You guys, I am very excited about today’s blog post!  I’m finally hopping on to share a few of my ride or die beauty products!

Specifically, I’m going to share a few of my most favorite beauty items that I get from Sephora; most that I have been using FOREVER and then a couple that I found recently.   I know a lot of you are already aware, but, if you’re not, Sephora has a really good Beauty Insider Program.  You get points for every dollar you spend and points turn into free products.  Not to mention, you can get free gift during your birthday month!  You can read about the Beauty Insider Program HERE.  Also, in addition to the Beauty Insider program, they often have free beauty offers with purchases over $25!

Okay, let’s talk Sephora products:

EYELINER:

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On  // The BEST eyeliner I’ve ever used is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On.  I wear eyeliner on my top and bottom waterline so I need an eyeliner that doesn’t smudge.  This one is great and stays on!  I love how easily it glides on and how bold the color is.  I use shade perversion and it’s available HERE.

EYESHADOW:

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Eyeshadow Palette  //  Okay, I have a lot to say about this eyeshadow palette so bear with me.  My good friend and beauty expert, Courtney, is obsessed with these palettes and talks about them all the time.  When I decided to try one, I called her and asked which one is her favorite and why she loves it and, literally, asked her way too many questions.  Without skipping a beat, she said that the Luxury Palette was her favorite and she also thought those shades would be best for me.  I now own it and love it!  The shades are pigmented, which I love, and can also provide a subtle (daytime) or dramatic (nighttime) eye.  Each palette contains four harmonious eye colors: Prime, Enhance, Smoke, and Pop.  Oh, and I LOVE the size of the palette!  I can easily fit into even my smaller makeup bag.  And, lastly,  I love that it’s not 20 different shades, which is often overwhelming for someone who looks for any reason to wear less makeup. The colors really are soooo pretty!  I’ll do a tutorial soon on the different looks you can achieve with this one palette.  It’s available HERE.

DRY SHAMPOO:

Living Proof Dry Shampoo  //  This is the only dry shampoo I have found that truly absorbs oils in my hair and has 100% helped my hair look less greasy, thus allowing me to go more days between washes.  I spray this in my hair daily!  It works VERY well!  You can get the travel size to try HERE or you can grab the full size HERE.

Living Proof Volume Blast //  This is one hair product that I NEVER want to be without!  It gives me all the volume and texture; I LOVE this stuff!  I also use this daily, even on clean hair.  I spray this in my hair before I curl it and often a few sprays after as well. This stuff is LEGIT!  I’m telling you, if you wish you had more volume in your hair and/or better texture, I highly recommend this stuff!  It’s GOLD!  You can get the travel size to try HERE or the full size HERE.  //  Note: If you have an Instagram account, you can see my hair tutorials saved in my Highlight Videos HERE. I’ll also get this added to the blog very soon!

SELF TANNER:

St. Tropez Express Tanning Mousse // I have tried so many self tanners and I always go back to this.  I love how fast it works! I go from pale to bronzed in less than an hour. Ha!  I apply this with a mitt, all over my body (including my face). During the spring and summer I apply this usually around once per week.  I feel like the color lasts pretty good and I really like the way it looks!  Tip: Take your time, especially at first, to ensure you’re applying it evenly. Also, be sure to apply lotion to dry areas such a knees and ankles prior to applying the tanning mousse.  It’s available HERE.

Isle of Paradise Tanning Spray // I will say, I recently tried this and I really like the color! However, I wasn’t fan of the spray because it took 1214 sprays to cover my body.  BUT, it also comes in drops and I have heard great things about them!  You just apply the drops to your body lotion and apply all over.  I have ordered some and will report back after I try them.  Available HERE.

I’d love to know, in the comments, which beauty products you always pick up at Sephora? Is there anything I need to be trying?  Y’all always share the best stuff!

P.S. I’m planning to get some more beauty related blog posts and tutorials added to the blog very soon!

I big thanks to Sephora for sponsoring this post!  As always, all products and opinions are my own!

I also love the living proof product line! However, when using the dry shampoo my hair gets so dull. Do you have any tips to get that shine back and look less powdery?

    • If you don’t mind me asking, what shampoo do you use?

I LOVE these beauty posts! I’m really trying to train my hair to go longer without washing and these Living Proof products are keeping me sane and presentable to society lol. I’ve never tried the eyeshadow but I agree I love when pallets are smaller so I actually use everything in the pallet and don’t play for colors I don’t use!
Question about the self-tanner: does it have a smell? I’m desperately trying to find a self-tanner that doesn’t smell too strong. I’m even game for gradual tanners. Just can’t find anything without a strong tanning salon smell. Let me know if you’ve ever found something with minimal odor!
Thank you for all your wonderful content and real stories! You’re awesome!

Vita Liberata tanning mousse. LIFE CHANGING. Only product that looks like an actual tan without the smell. Lived in Hawaii for almost a decade so I’m super picky about my self tanners. Try the travel kit ($25) duo first to make sure you like it. It beats St.Tropez! You’ll love it!

    • The smell isn’t too bad! However, someone else left another comment on here sharing another self-tanner with ZERO smell and great coverage. I’m going to try that one too!

Does the living proof make your hair white-ish? Is that a word? But everything I’ve tried gives my hair that white powder look and it’s nasty!

    • I don’t have that issue. I realllllly love it!
