Alright gang, the  Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going to be here before we know it!   I’m going to give you the full scoop on the Nsale + all the need-to-know details so you’ll be fully prepared to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale strategically and stress-free.

WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?

It’s one of the most highly anticipated sales of the year! Year after year, I put back money so I can shop the heck out of this sale each year.  It’s no secret that I am a budget-friendly shopper so I take FULL advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale when all the new items for fall are up to 40% OFF!  It’s literally what all of your fall dreams are made of!  Snagging the must-have fall booties, sweaters, and jackets for 40% OFF?  Um, yes please!  I have several friends who knock out ALL of their Christmas shopping during Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because it allows them to purchase more lavish gifts at a super great price + FREE shipping on everything!

You’ll save on BRAND NEW fall items across all departments, which again is why it’s also a great time to shop for Christmas, upcoming birthdays and/or anything you’ll need.  Women’s clothes, men’s clothes, kids clothes, accessories, home décor and more will all be discounted up to 40% . So many top brands are included; SPANX, Sam Edelman,  Tory Burch, TopShop, Free People, MAC, Living Proof, and so much more!

July 12 (at 12:30 p.m. EST) – Early Access Begins
July 18 – Early Access Ends
July 19 – Public Sale Begins
August 4 – Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Ends

HOW CAN YOU SHOP THE SALE EARLY?

I’m so glad you asked!  Early access is KEY because things literally fly off the shelves!  One minute something will be in your cart and then next it’s sold out.  To ensure you have full access to the sale before things sell out,  you need to have early access.  To do so,  you need to be a Nordstrom cardholder .  Cardholders get to shop the sale a FULL WEEK before everyone else, both in store and online. This will give you access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale on July 12th, while everyone else won’t have access until July 20th.  To become a Nordstrom cardholder, sign up HERE.

WHAT IS YOUR SHOPPING STRATEGY?

My first thing to shop each year from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are boots and shoes!  When the cutest pair of booties and over-the-knee boots are originally $240 and are marked down to $119, you’d be silly not to snag them ASAP.  Shoes will typically have some of the highest discounts and they are also some of the first things to sell out.  The shipping is FREE so I place an order for my shoes FIRST just ensure I get the ones I want and then I place another order for the other items.  I look for good quality items that can be styled several different ways.  Aside from shoes, I typically purchase a few cardigans, some cute sweaters and versatile basics, and often times a new winter coat.  Typically, each year, you can score some great Zella leggings and the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings for 40% OFF!

I prefer to do most of my shopping online and then I select in-store pick up at checkout.  They usually text you within just a couple of hours to pick up your order, it’s incredibly convenient.

I suggest making a list of items that you’re needing and try to stick to it because it’s easy to get sucked in and want to buy allll the things.  Nordstrom returns, just like their shipping, is FREE so this is very nice when you need to order more than one size in something.  I often do that during the sale and then return whichever size doesn’t work.

WHAT WILL YOU BE SHARING FROM THE NSALE?

The minute the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes live. I will be up to start curating and sharing the best deals!  I will be sharing all the best finds from all departments throughout the sale.  I’ll also let you know which items from the sale are the most popular.  I will be doing try-on sessions and I will be sharing items on more than one body-type!  I will also have a tab at the top on my blog titled Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so you can easily locate what you’re looking for.  I’ll be sharing pictures of the items I purchase; the things I liked and the things that I’ll be returning.  I will say, personally, I plan to be VERY particular with my purchases this year! 

Also, same as last year, I’ll be doing Instagram Stories when I walk the sale early on July 10th!  This way you can see footage of what items look like in store.
