I hope everyone had a good week + weekend. This week was a very low-key week for me. Truthfully, I felt lazy. I wore sweats the majority of the week, stayed off my laptop as much as possible, enjoyed some down time, and more cuddly time with the kids. It was nice. I mean, it was definitely lazy and pretty non-productive, but it was nice. I have a busy week ahead, which I’m actually looking forward to after a week of slowness.
Oh, and we found out this weekend that our kids are definitely not going back to school this year. I knew it was coming, but I was really hoping they would get to go back, at least for a week, just to see all of their friends and have some social interaction before summer break. My kids miss seeing this friends so much! I do, too! If you have school-aged kids, how are they holding up?
Good news, I think they are going to start slowly opening things back up later this month and early next month. They didn’t really say what the plan is, but I’m looking forward to whatever that may be.

Hey Jen! My kids’ lives have been changed the past couple weeks by Kid’s Facebook Messenger app. I decided to get it just for this time when they can’t physically see their friends, and when their daily work is done, they have a safe profile to get on and contact friends that I have approved. They have a blast! They play games, use filters, and video chat. It has definitely made this time easier.
Hi Jen. I notice you mention you go up a 1/2 size or down a 1/2 size in shoes. What is your “normal” shoe size so I can use for comparison and shopping purposes 🙂 thanks!
